Independent artists don’t earn as much as those with labels. Most of them don’t have sponsors. The least you can do is buy their music, merchandise and support their shows. If you call yourself a true fan, this should be a no brainer. Spending money for the ticket shouldn’t be as PAINFUL since these artists HELPED YOU in one way or another through their music. These people inspired you to do something you never thought you are capable of. They inspired you to be better, to be true to yourself, to also reach for your dreams. Through them and their music, you met your bestfriends and concert buddies. These independent artists don’t have big financial back ups or sponsors to help them with tour expenses. They do everything by themselves. The ticket you paid for for their tour will probably help them to support/produce his/her next album. If you still want them to reach their dreams, you would help out. You would buy their music, merchandise and support their shows in cities near you. The fulfillment of their dreams is in your hands. Don’t take it away from them.
