This is your crucible.

If there's anything I learned from the past years, it's that life will not wait for you if you wish to take a break. You cannot hide from it. You cannot lay in the bed for days and just wish for the world to stop spinning. Everyday, every hour, every second, people make choices. Crossroads are part of this life. It is part of your life.

You are in a crossroad right now. You cannot make the day stop to give yourself more time to decide. You have to make the decision right here, right now. I think you've already been given enough time. So, what's it gonna be?

You want it all.

The past seems blurry, the future more vivid, and right here, right now… you let yourself feel.
Stomach flutters, heart beats fast.
You are no longer looking into his eyes, what is in front of you is your future.
You want it all.
And there's nothing left to say but a promise to never let it go.

Marié Digby: 'Kings & Queens' Sneak Peek (PHOTO)

Here's a sneak peek of Marié Digby's new music video for KINGS & QUEENS. This single comes from her latest EP, CHIMERA. Chimera also includes tracks Vanish and Diamond Eyes. Kings & Queens is directed by Josh Madson.

According to Wikipedia, Chimera is a monstrous fire-breathing hybrid creature, usually depicted as a lioness, with the head of a goat arising from her back, and a tail that might end with a snake's head. Chimera is perceived as wildly imaginative, implausible and dazzling.

Marié describes her latest EP as 'wildly imaginative'. "All three of the songs are incredibly different, much like the Chimera which is made up of a lion, goat, and snake, but together, I’d like to think my songs represent something powerful and surreal.", Marié said in an interview with NMR.

CHIMERA is available on iTunes. Go get it guys! :)

Hide and Seek

You hear him well, the problem lately has never been your hearing; it's been your inability to believe. You have fallen into a quiet isolation, and now it's become difficult for you to move out into the sunlight.

You spend too much time being sad, you forget how to live. You forget that there are bigger things than your pain. I know it hurts a lot, but you cannot use your pain to justify everything you're messing up in your life. You can't hide behind your sadness forever. Sooner or later, you have to push through it and fall in love with the real world again.

Dia Frampton Covers Lego House in this week's #CoverMondays

All Dia Frampton & Kina Grannis fans out there have to wait for another week for their cover! ;)

What better way to make up for the delay? LEGO HOUSE by Ed Sheeran!! Dia recorded a last minute video for this week's episode of Cover Mondays. She explained in the description section of the video why she uploaded it instead of the promised duet. :)

I love her previous covers, I really do, but there's just something about the simplicity of this video that I find endearing. Must be the tenderness of her voice and the fact that it wasn't overpowered by the instrument that only showcased the quality of her voice. Go click on the video and see/hear what I mean. :)

Don't forget to SUBSCRIBE to her YouTube account!

Fingers crossed for a duet next week! ;)

She's on most social media. Go stalk, I mean, FOLLOW her!

You can also follow one of her PH streetteams.

Marié Digby Covers Clarity by Zedd ft. Foxes

It's been 3 months since the last time she uploaded a cover on YouTube. The wait is SO worth it! Due to popular demand, on June 17th, Marié posted her cover of Clarity by Zedd ft. Foxes. Clarity is one of those mainstream songs (there aren't many) that's currently in my iTunes loop.

The video, as Marié described it, was "dreamy". If the original made me want to stand up and dance, her version made me want to just lie in my bed and stare at the ceiling while listening to it (which I may have done a few times.). The best thing about Marié's cover was the emotion she put in the song. It came from her heart, out from her lips to the listeners' ears and straight to their hearts. It's one thing to nail a song, but to get chills because of its beauty and authenticity, it's a gift.

I can't wait to hear more from her. Hopefully soon! And maybe an original here and there? ;)

Aside from YouTube, she's also on Twitter and Facebook! Go subscribe, follow and like! :D

Dia Frampton's #CoverMondays (Recap)

I know, I know, late post again! Lol. I was a bit busy these past few weeks. Hurrah! I kinda love that work is picking up. Hated being idle the first few weeks at my new work. Hehe. Hoping that it won't get TOO crazy though. ;)

Anyways, it's been 3 weeks since I posted something about Dia Frampton relaunching Cover Mondays. Here they are!

06/03/2013 : I LOVE IT, Icona Pop - Not a huge fan of Icona Pop, I've heard snippets of the original song and thought it was likeable. Dia's version was so good that it became my "song of the week"! Lol.

06/10/2013 : STAY, Rihanna ft. Mikky Ekko - The original version gave me a feel of sadness and tragedy. It quite made me still and quiet for a few minutes after I listened to it the first time. Dia's cover of Stay sounded hopeful, at least  for me, and I loved it!

06/17/2013 : Footsteps (Original) - I know it says covers... no complaints here! ;)

Dia posted a photo of her and Kina Grannis a few days ago. I'm hoping that next Cover Mondays episode will feature Kina! The wait is seriously killing me!

Cover Mondays in a couple of days! See you loves!

P.S. Let Dia know what you would like for her to cover next time. Go ahead! :)
